Global Partner Conference (GPC) announcements provide “unmitigated good news” for HP customers.

As a key Forrester Research, Inc. principal analyst and blade server expert, Richard Fichera, captured the essence of the BladeSystem announcements made at HP GPC from February 19-21, 2013. The world’s most advanced blade infrastructure just got better. Richard knows the blade market as well as anyone as he has lived and breathed this technology for most of his professional career. He quickly realized that HP was defending and expanding its market capabilities with “an assortment of performance and functionality enhancements” comments Fichera, that came from HP knowing datacenter customer needs now and for the foreseeable future.

Richard also captured the pride and expertise that is prevalent within the BladeSystem team and HP,

“A clear sign that the server group has not lost its focus — In earlier posts on the impact of HP’s management and financial fiascos, I stated that the core product groups were still competent and focused. I view this announcement as a clear token of this focus.”  Richard wrote.

HP will continue to lead the datacenter transformation by focusing on the customers’ biggest issues, the speed of change, managing data center growth, and providing solutions for the explosion of mobile devices. And HP will do this by redefining the expectations and economics of data centers with the most advanced data center infrastructure, to simplify the management of that infrastructure and to provide the solutions necessary for virtual  client acceleration in managing the mobile user experience.
