Infrastructure changes. Stay in the loop with the HP OneView state change message

IT is under pressure to respond more rapidly to changing business conditions due to factors like mobility, cloud computing and big data.  I’ve stated in my previous blogs that one of the key reasons customers are using HP OneView is because of its automation capabilities through its RESTful APIs.  Another critical element for infrastructure automation is the state change message bus (SCMB), a key feature in HP OneView.

What if your data center search tools were as easy to use as searching the web?

When you search for directions to the latest hot restaurant, it’s a simple matter of typing in a few words or, increasingly, speaking a few commands, to locate what you need. When it comes to navigating your data center, though, it’s a different story.

Notifications keep infrastructure management tasks on track, boosting productivity

Sometimes it’s the little things that make the biggest difference. For example, a well-designed notification can be a game changer when it comes to managing your converged infrastructure. A simple animated banner and subtly pitched sound alerting you to the completion of a task can keep a project on track and greatly increase your productivity, helping you meet business demands.

Want to reduce converged infrastructure configuration times? Here’s how.

One thing I realized during the development research that we put into designing HP OneView is how critical speed is becoming in today’s data center. We found a growing IT management gap between business needs and IT’s capability to respond. When it takes 66 days to deploy new infrastructure (as it did for one client of ours), you know you have a problem.
