Can’t make it to HP Discover 2012? Backstage with HP Software is the next best thing.

If you’re not one of the lucky 10,000 participants who will be in Las Vegas next week for HP Discover 2012, don’t worry. We’ve got your back. Visit Backstage with HP Software for a behind-the-scenes look at the event. Join technology evangelist Paul Muller, along with his co-hosts, chief cloud technologist Christian Verstraete and security specialist Raf Los direct from the show floor. They’ve sorted through the more than 800 sessions to highlight what they consider to be the most useful information from a software perspective.

You’ll be privy to in-depth interviews with top CIOs, IT experts, HP partners and customers. For example, they’ll talk to a health care services customer that is digitizing its business to speed the delivery of patient care. Another CIO will share how he transformed his IT from a department that wasn’t being taken seriously into a strategic partner that now has data-driven discussions with the business. And they’ll bring you the latest announcements on new technology HP is bringing to the marketplace.

You can also browse blogs, videos and podcasts showcasing insights and key takeaways on topics such as data center strategy, business intelligence and analytics, applications transformation, security and, of course, cloud computing.

Approximately 25 independent bloggers are expected to converge in the Discover Bloggers Lounge throughout the event. A live Twitter chat session will take place on Thursday, June 7 at 10 a.m. PDT, hosted by Christian, Paul and Raf. Stay tuned and join in the discussion.
