Discover HP Enterprise Communications at Enterprise Connect 2011 in Orlando
I'll be attending Enterprise Connect, formerly known as VoiceCon this year in Orlando, along with a large team from HP. We hope to be able to demonstrate how HP can help you navigate the maze of technologies, vendors and service offerings to simplify your day-to-day business communications.
What’s what and who’s who
Arthur Filip, HP Vice President and General Manager for HP Technology Services Consulting, will be keynoting on Wednesday at 11:15 in Osceola C. I haven’t seen his presentation yet - so I can't give you any hints, but it should be interesting to hear what he says. He’s on right after Kirk Koenigsbauer, VP Office Productivity group, Microsoft, at 10:00 that day.
Manfred Arndt, HP Distinguished Technologist will be participating in the Wednesday afternoon session on covering QoS and network design for converged networks (2:30 - 5:30 in Sun D).
Our network services team will be on hand to discuss what they have to offer for multi-vendor network consulting and support services. If you're looking to outsource the voice (or voice and data) portions of your network, our managed services team will also be available to talk about how they can provide integrated business communications.
Head to the booth
Here, we'll have our networking portfolio on display, showcasing how we've integrated Unified Communications and Collaboration applications from AllianceONE partners Microsoft, Avaya and Aastra. These applications run on services modules which are directly integrated into the E5400 network switch chassis, and include asurvivable branch solution for Microsoft Lync and a Session Border Controller using the Avaya SBC powered by Acme Packet. VBrick will also be at here, showcasing its Enterprise IP Video communications systems that we also have integrated into a services module.
I understand that we'll also be showing off unified voice and data over WiFi, with single number and hand-off between the cellular and WiFi network. We will also have solutions on display from Polycom and Alcatel-Lucent.
As last year, our Visual Collaboration team (formerly known as HP Halo) will be there to demonstrate how telepresence solutions can be extended down to the desktop, putting HD video collaboration in the hands of everyone in the enterprise.
The HP Visual Collaboration Executive desktop (finalist for best of Enterprise Connect 2011) will be on show, along with the two-screen HP Visual Collaboration room with live links to Cupertino and Germany.
Keep an eye out for me around the HP booth with the camera taking videos and photos, or follow me on twitter on@AndyAtHP.
Looking forward to seeing you at the event!
