HP is running a free half-day virtual conference next week on data-center transformation, with involvement from Donna Scott (Gartner), as well as executives from across HP's Enterprise Business units.
There will be three pairs of presentations, interleaved with an opportunity for you to network with the speakers, and your peers in a virtual exhibition hall.
Donna Scott, VP and Distinguished Analyst from Gartner will be talking about how to choose the right data-center and IT architecture for your business. HP's Technology Services team will cover how we can help to re-examine and improve how your data-center is run.
In the second session; Duncan Campbell will talk about how to transform your data center into a complete shared service environment using Converged Infrastructure. Jay Mellman will cover how networking is a critical component of Converged Infrastructure both within the data center, and in the campus LAN, both for wired and wireless access. He has some great data from IDC that shows how real HP clients have saved 65% on their network operational costs.
Closing the event HP Critical Facilities Services will talk about facilities design; then HP's Enterprise Services will cover how HP have consolidated over 85 data centers into three paired data-centers, reducing power consumption by 60%, and significantly reducing spending.
The event is being run 3 times in slots to make it easier to fit it into your day. Click on the links in the table below to register.
