If only there was a common, multi-vendor implementation of this seemingly trivial placement problem….

Mary Gabra.jpgIs it just me, or does anyone else think that a big, noisy space with lots of strangers is a good place to unwind?


Re-reading that sentence, I’m not even inclined to agree with myself.  But I have to admit there has a been a time or two, when I wanted to avoid sitting in Friday night traffic, that I stopped off at a certain warehouse-style department store to kill some time…and as I walked through the aisles of couches and bookcases, surrounded by the white noise of other shoppers, I found myself feeling quite relaxed.  Why exactly?  It must have something to do with the simplicity for which the store is famous.
