New report by the Dell’Oro Group: HP Networking gaining share in data center Ethernet switching

Dell’Oro recently published a new report as part of its advanced research services. The new report titled “Advanced Research Report Ethernet Switch Deployment Location,” is the first of its kind in looking at market share by deployment location. In this report, Dell’Oro showed Ethernet switching share in the Data center, Enterprise, SMB and Carrier Ethernet Services. In this blog, I will specifically call out the report’s information on data center Ethernet switching. Dell’Oro’s definition of that market is: “ this segment consists of Ethernet Switches used by businesses in server access, server aggregation later, data center core and campus core parts of the network.”
