HP's 6 internal Data Centers now Cisco-free

614iCFD36ABDB684A683You may recall that at Interop this past May - Dave Donatelli announced on stage that as part of the acquisition process HP's own IT teams had been evaluating the 3Com/H3C products - and liked what they saw. At that point they had been able to transition one of HP's 6 core data-centers from Cisco to HP Networking equipment.

Well - that was 6 months ago, and today - we've just announced that all 6 of our internal next-generation data-centers are now Cisco free - and running on HP Networking.  All of the WAN routers (supporting 260Gbs of WAN traffic) and switching connecting the data-centers together, and to the internet (120Gbps) are now based on HP A-series routers and switches.
