About three years ago, when the first access points (APs) featuring high-speed 802.11N came onto the market, we were all so excited. Now AP vendors have done it again—with the launch of APs supporting 3 spatial streams per radio offering up to 450 Mbps per radio, which means up to 900 Mbps per dual-radio AP. That is almost “Gig on the air”! It's a WiFi dream come true.
