HP Identified as a Leader in Leading Analyst Firm’s Magic Quadrant Report for MFPs and Printers

I wanted to share some exciting news stemming from a Gartner Report that came out July 26. HP has been positioned as a “leader” in the latest Gartner Magic Quadrant Report for MFPs and printers. As a leading provider of IT research and advice, Gartner issued its independent multivendor report that positions vendors based on their “ability to execute” and their “completeness of vision.”

 

As a brief re-cap for those that might not be familiar, these reports are highly valued in the industry, and we believe securing this position in the Leaders Quadrant reinforces our overall value to current customers as well as potential customers looking to select HP.

 

You may be wondering, what are the factors that Gartner assesses to determine the leader’s quadrant?

 

  • Leaders are the most capable in providing MFPs, printers and the associated printing solutions and services, regardless of customer location
  • Leaders offer the most extensive product portfolio relative to their peers, and they have the broad channel capability to deliver the products to customers where they want to procure them
  • Leaders hold consistently high market share worldwide and are capable of delivering consistent service levels in the regions where Gartner customers are located
  • Leaders tend to have the deepest global capability and the inventiveness and resources, skills and vision to deliver superior levels of support to existing and future customers globally
  • Leaders have a proven track record of channeling R&D initiatives into products and solutions that customers need

We consider our placement as a leader to be a great accomplishment and again, I credit the hard work of our HP teams, our partners, and the support of our customers. We will continue to make significant investments in our MFPs to deliver the best in the industry for our customers, and this latest leadership ranking reflects our endless focus and dedication in addressing our customers’ evolving and unique needs.
