EUU3 does not make any changes to the bluetooth manager. I also have a 3970 and a wireless pack and I have had no problems. Did you soft re-set after the update ? If not try that first if no joy I think you will need to do a Hard re-set remember to backup you're programs and data first though

Also I have removed any additional software installed.
Everything on the IPAQ works fine when the Wireless pack is removed. When I attach the Wireless Pack then only the Bluetooth Icon is missing. I need this to start Bluetooth.
I assume that this icon must be a shortcut to an executable file somewhere.
Does anyone know what this file is?
Can you execute this file from the File Explorer window?

I tried to restart the BTSecMgr.exe from the file explorer with the effect of showing the icon again on the Today screen
but another issue araised: when I tried to open a radio channel, the Bluetooth manager would pop up a windows to state that the driver has not enoughmemory as ask me to agree on a simplified soft reset which leads to ... a today screen without the Bluetooth icon but with a blinking bluelight !!!
help is really needed
I have 3870 with a wireless pack (GSM/GPRS) and EEU3 installed and even reinstalled (all french version)
