Professor Matsuoka's Describes Tokyo Tech's Tsubame2 at GPU Technology Conference

You don't need to have been at NVIDIA's popular GPU Technology Conference (GTC) to hear the professor describe their new 2.4 Petaflops system, and the applications it will be focused at. NVIDIA has posted recordings and slides here.

The conference, held in late September, provides pictures of the installation, some architectural diagrams, and explains, via example, how some applications leverage GPU computing.   The site, by the way, is expected to be among the top in November's Top500 listing, and utilizes the recently announced HP ProLiant SL390s G7 servers.
