HP Apollo 8000 System continues to advance the science of supercomputing

Since its introduction, the HP Apollo 8000 System has been capturing awards and acclaim for its new, practical approach to liquid cooling. The system won one of the R&D100 Awards for the 100 of the most technologically significant products introduced in 2013 — it was dubbed “Water-cooled Perfection.” The Apollo 8000 System is an efficient warm-water cooled supercomputer that eliminates the need for expensive, inefficient chillers in the data center and is designed to capture and reuse the system-generated heat.
