HP Expands Presence and Takes Leadership in European HPC Organizations

Dr Frank Baetke.pngHP most recently expanded its presence in European high performance computing (HPC) endeavors by becoming a full member of the European Technology Platform for High Performance Computing (ETP4HPC). ETPs exist for many areas of key concern to European societies. A primary role of ETP is to develop research agendas, areas for innovation and roadmaps for action at the EU and national level to be supported by both private and public funding. Additionally, HP's  Frank Baetke, worldwide HPC business development manager for academia and research at HP, has been elected by the EOFS Board to serve as the new chairman of EOFS.
