Shopping Malls Developer maximizes employee productivity with integrated communications platform
By Danette Hardin, Network Product Marketing Manager
Earlier this year, I blogged about how HP had used Unified Communications (UC) to remove the barriers of distance and time during one of the biggest snow storms to hit London in 18 years. Even though many employees throughout the city could not get to work, it was business as usual for HP thanks to its unified communications (UC) solution.
The snow storm incident is a perfect example of how UC can help your company stay up-and-running even when Mother Nature seems to have other ideas. But today I want to talk about putting UC to practical, everyday use to improve collaboration and reduce costs - regardless of the weather condition.

Energy Company Improved Collaboration with Best-in-Class Converged Network Solution
By Danette Hardin, Network Product Marketing Manager
You’ve heard me talk about the new “normal” of doing business several times in past blog posts. The pace at which everyone is now demanding instant contact and information means that you need to offer better ways for your workers and partners to communicate and collaborate.
A great example of an organization that used innovative technology to compete in this new “normal” is this international energy company. They were searching for a faster and more reliable communications system. HP helped them make worldwide connectivity a reality.
