Maximizing your vision on Cloud Computing

My optometrist is advising me to wear bifocals so that I can see objects in the distance and also angle my eyes slightly to read text at closer distances.  Thanks to his advice, I let my visual experience define my choices for my next pair of glasses.  When our appointment was wrapping up, I inquired about an interesting note “Do Not Shutdown” on one of the computer monitors. I understood that my optometrist had transitioned to a New Style of IT in his own way while making a business decision on transforming to Cloud Computing.  In addition to maximizing my range of vision, he also demonstrated a clear short-term and long-term vision on effectively enabling his business with Cloud Computing.  Let me explain how.

HP Helion – a down-to-earth message from Mother Nature

It is a bright new day and the sun is shining with great pride above the clouds; radiating positive energy all the way down to the spring flowers that punctuate the tapestry of Mother Nature, the CIO of Planet Earth. The sky is splattered with varying shades of puffy white clouds (public) and other dark and mysterious clouds (private). Several others have ‘oh-so-fascinating’ shades that are just the right mix for the right segment of the landscape. No single type of cloud covers the whole sky. Because you see, Mother Nature has a new wave of thinking when it comes to the Clouds. She is a pragmatist, like some of us, and is sending a ‘down-to-earth’ message to the enterprise – a message that comes across loud and clear through HP Helion (root: “Helios,” the Greek sun god).
