Going social on auto-racing with Rainer Zietlow and the New Style of IT

When I raced to the New Style of IT at HP Discover, Las Vegas, I figured it would be the closest I would come to experiencing auto-racing in real life.  Well, world renowned adventurer Rainer Zietlow, is proving me wrong.  Zietlow is racing 19,000 kilometers in a record-breaking nine days from Nordkapp, Norway to Cape Agulhas, South Africa -- a race that is enabled by all the aspects that define the New Style of IT (Cloud, Big Data, Social and Mobility). –The factor that fascinates me the most in this case, is the social interaction.  You can engage with the race in real-time, in multiple ways, including being in an (auto) social race of your own thanks to the New Style of IT and Zietlow. Want to join in this race? Read on!

Triggers me to take a look at social networking fundamentals and how mobility can be disruptive in this space.
