Cloud Map for Oracle Fusion Middleware on HP-UX

It is November 1. Here are HP, due to a slightly offset fiscal year, we are wishing each other a Happy New Year!

 

Along  with the start of a new fiscal year, there is always some new or extended offers, such as the Integrity Blade Starter Kit, which Cynthia has already noted.

 

One other thing that I would like to highlight is the new Cloud Map for Oracle Fusion Middleware. The reason that this Cloud Map is so interesting is that it is specifically designed for environments running HP-UX. It describes best practices for deploying Oracle Fusion Middleware, including a white paper [PDF] on how to set it up. It includes downloadable templates, workflows, and scripts [ZIP] for BladeSystem Matrix with HP-UX [PDF]. If you aren't familiar with BladeSystem Matrix, where are a whole lot of demos available, including demos of the Cloud Service Automation and HP Server Automation functionality.

 

If you want to deploy Oracle Fusion Middleware, HP and Oracle make it quick and easy to create automated deployments and automate the maintenance on HP-UX 11i v3. Isn't automation one of the best ways to reduce the "maintenance" part of your IT spend?
