Update and validate your UNIX skills with HP ExpertOne

Are you looking to enhance your competency on HP-UX 11i v3 or could someone on your team use a skills refresher? HP ExpertOne has two new training and professional certifications available to advance your skills. 

 

Fundamentals

If you have up to a year of hands-on experience with HP-UX you could benefit from our new HP ATP – HP-UX 11i v3 Administrator training and certification.  Get the latest training and then validate your foundational skills administering HP's mission-critical environment including UNIX commands, shell features and programming, file system and process management. You’ll also learn about recent advances in high availability, security, virtualization, workload management and instant capacity, and be able to apply this knowledge in real-world scenarios. 

 

Advanced Knowledge

If you are more experienced and want to ensure you are taking full advantage of the improvements HP continues to build into HP-UX, then we encourage you to take the new HP ASE – HP-UX 11i v3 Administrator.  Validate your ability to successfully configure, manage, maintain, and administer mission-critical servers utilizing HP-UX 11i v3 in a networked environment.  Improve your skills performing advanced administrative tasks such as:

 

  • server deployment, configuration and performance tuning under mission-critical conditions
  • management and configuration of the operating system, patches, and application software
  • utilization of  key management and data protection tools like PRM, Workload Manager, Npar/Vpar managers, HP Serviceguard
