Well, VMworld opens this week, and needless to say, HP has a large presence at the show. If you want to know more, you can find a lot of coverage on Twitter using the hashtags #hpci and #VMworld.

 

Not surprisingly, HP has announced some new virtualization and cloud offerings at the same time as the show. One of the newest offerings HP Cloud Service Automation for Matrix on ProLiant. HP Cloud Service Automation not only allows you to plan and design your cloud strategy, it provides the automation tools to reduce the ongoing cost and complexity of managing applications in the cloud.

  • Wendy Bartlett is a Distinguished Technologist in HP’s NonStop Enterprise Division, and focuses on dependability – security and availability - for the NonStop server line. She joined Tandem in 1978. Her other main area of interest is system architecture evolution. She has an M.S. degree in computer science from Stanford University.
