It has been a great week at HP Discover. In particular, it has been gratifying to chat with customers and hear how HP Integrity and HP-UX are playing a key role powering their mission-critical applications. I'd like to share some updates for HP-UX as well as interviews with customers talking about their real world experience using HP-UX (live from the expo floor at HP Discover)...

There are a lot of major announcements from HP coming out at this year's premiere event - HP Discover. In case you missed the news yesterday, here is a taste of some of the innovative products and solutions that are helping enterprises improve agility today that may be of particular interest to readers of this mission-critical computing blog, including new Converged Systems and Superdome 2 advancements
Today’s NonStop servers have evolved from the proprietary Tandem systems of the past. The new NonStop is modern, open, runs on standard hardware components, and is fully integrated into a common systems management framework as part of HP’s Converged Infrastructure. Throughout this transformation we have remained true to what NonStop has always done best: delivering the availability, scalability and data integrity customers rely on to run their businesses. Even though today’s platform is remarkably different that the platform of the 1990’s, it is 100% NonStop.
Hello, readers! For those who don’t know me, I’m a Distinguished Technologist in HP’s NonStop Enterprise Division, and will be blogging on all things NonStop – especially security and availability. The other NonStop bloggers also post on HP’s Mission Critical Musings blog, and you can follow us on Twitter at @HP_NonStop.
I hope to see some of you next week in Las Vegas at HP’s DISCOVER conference.
