HP Speaks at Java 7 Launch Event Today

HP has been a strong supporter and licensee of Java technology since the early days of Java 1.1 on our mission-critical computing platforms, including HP-UX, OpenVMS and NonStop.  Java 7 has arrived and HP is speaking at the launch event, relaying our customer first commitment -- ensuring our customers realize a high quality, high performance experience with Java on our platforms.

  • Wendy Bartlett is a Distinguished Technologist in HP’s NonStop Enterprise Division, and focuses on dependability – security and availability - for the NonStop server line. She joined Tandem in 1978. Her other main area of interest is system architecture evolution. She has an M.S. degree in computer science from Stanford University.
