Steelcase revitalizes its SAP® environment with HP Mission-Critical Converged Infrastructure

Upon reading Steelcase’s case study about a furniture company making a major investment into their infrastructure, I immediately become intrigued as to the intricacies of the investment they were making and what sparked the push for them to go ahead with this investment.  Coming from HP sales in the past, I was on the manufacturing vertical of the Enterprise Servers Storage and Networking side of IT sales.  As many manufacturing organizations I worked with were struggling with their environments, using older products, I found myself challenged with customers that didn’t have the resources or the know how to implement the needed resources to accelerate their IT environments.  Many organizations decided to rather put temporary patches on large problems rather than look at the bigger picture of how an investment now could save so much more in the future.
