The Internet of Things NonStop and HAVEn

The Internet of Things is a very disruptive technology with incredible promise to change the way we play, communicate and even live our lives.  It is an aspect of Big Data but I believe there is a new area known as data in motion or data stream processing that will be required to take full advantage of the Internet of Things.

Integrity NonStop BladeSystem IPU-level process scheduling - new in J06.12

As an HP NonStop customer, are you a system performance control freak?  In the J06.12 RVU we’ve extended your grasp by giving you tools to control process scheduling at the IPU level.  Use them with care, though.  Before you get behind the wheel and start driving, read on to make sure that you understand how the system’s process scheduling works when left alone to make its own decisions.  In this blog, I’m assuming that you’re already familiar with NonStop multicore system architecture.

The New NonStop…Delivered, Tandem Transformation Drives Customer and Partner Success

Today’s NonStop servers have evolved from the proprietary Tandem systems of the past. The new NonStop is modern, open, runs on standard hardware components, and is fully integrated into a common systems management framework as part of HP’s Converged Infrastructure. Throughout this transformation we have remained true to what NonStop has always done best:  delivering the availability, scalability and data integrity customers rely on to run their businesses. Even though today’s platform is remarkably different that the platform of the 1990’s, it is 100% NonStop.

HP Integrity NonStop Systems help enterprises run a secure business and meet compliance

It is a matter of survival for enterprises to ensure that hackers cannot breach into their systems. Every security breach is in every newspaper and every newsfeeds within moments. A security breach can cost the whole business. This is why enterprises need to choose the systems that provide best-of-breed security and help them comply with the security regulations appropriate for their industry. HP Integrity NonStop systems belong to those secure classes of systems. There are many areas where Integrity NonStop systems help enterprises to run a secure business and comply with the security regulations, some of which include on-platform security, data-in-motion encryption, data-at-rest encryption, disk data sanitization and consolidated auditing.

HP Doubles Down with the HP Integrity NonStop BladeSystem NB54000c quad-core

The next generation of NonStop has arrived!

Is HP doubling down? You bet! Customers that run the world’s most demanding computing environments were sent a clear message today when HP announced that they were extending their BladeSystem family to include a quad-core system providing fault--tolerant availability and a standards-based architecture that scales capacity and performance.

HP said “now clients can upgrade from the dual-core Integrity BladeSystem with the NB54000c server for twice the performance in the same footprint!”
