The launch of RHEL 6 provides a great opportunity for Solaris customers to migrate from their costly, proprietary infrastructure to the performance, scalability and cost advantages of Red Hat Linux. Customers can decrease their Solaris costs by up to 75% achieve server consolidation ratios of 20:1 by migrating to RHEL 6. Many customers do not have the in house IT expertise to perform a Solaris-RHEL migration, and need to carefully consider the experience and capabilities of a consulting provider.
