Computational photography is what you get when you combine the capabilities of a camera, computer, appropriate software, and a modified photographic workflow and the result is much greater than the sum of the parts. I first wrote about computational photography on this blog back in November 2007. It has been one of my most read posts. A year later seems a good time to revisit this important topic.
