Honoring the Legacy of Magnum Photos While Inspiring Emerging Photographers

Entries are now being accepted for the 2011 Magnum Expression Awards, conducted by Magnum Photos in association with HP. In this post Philippe Serenon reflects on HP's five-year partnership with Magnum Photos and meeting the winners of the first two Magnum Expression Awards: Yvonne Venegas (2010) and Bieke Depoorter (2009). Philippe writes, "We need to thank all the current and past Magnum Photos members for their tremendous legacy. We must help make sure that young photographers have the support and encouragement they need to continue in the footsteps of Magnum Photo members such as Henri Cartier Bresson, Robert Capa, and Werner Bischof."
