Rave reviews continue to come in for the recently introduced HP ProLiant DL580 Gen8 Server. The review published by Tom Henderson of NetworkWorld describes the power and scalability of this ProLiant Server.

Tom makes the succinct point that the resilient DL580 Gen8 is designed to serve as both a consolidation platform and one for rapid scale-up and “… is the healthiest server to cross our path, ever.”

Tom also writes: The DL580 Gen8 is HP’s most powerful server in the ProLiant line. HP says that it’s designed specifically to take on IBM server iron (specifically the IBM Power 750), and one of the biggest beasts from Oracle’s Sun server line (the T5-4).”
