In July the IT PRO UK Magazine reviewed the new HP ProLiant DL360p Gen8 Sever.

 

The HP ProLiant DL360p Gen8 Server, tested by IT PRO provides exemplary server performance and efficiency in a compact 1U size. This new Gen8 Server is ideal for any cloud environment and it is designed for high-performance workloads, with adaptability for future requirements.

 

This dual-processor server comes in a dense rack package, features the new Intel Xeon E5-2600 family processor and comes with increased capacities with HP SmartMemory and HP SmartStorage with 10 SFF, 8 SFF or 4 LFF drive models. The new design provides fast and easy access to all the key components inside the server—new Smart Socket Guide for secure, easy upgrades to processors, and exclusive tool-less, quick-remove PCI riser cages for fast updates. Also included is the latest HP Integrated Lights-Out (iLO 4) Management Engine, as part of the new embedded HP ProActive Architecture, for faster deployment, better management, Always-On Active Health System, and instant uptime tools.
