Watch the new video from HP, titled “Introduction to the Service Pack for ProLiant (SPP)” which is now accessible through the SPP documentation webpage.  Presented by John McClintock, Software Director of HP ISS OS Enablement, it provides an overview of the SPP and how to use it. 

 

The SPP consolidates firmware, drivers, agents, other utilities, and HP Smart Update Manager (HP SUM) into a set of deliverables that can be used to support and maintain ProLiant and BladeSystems servers and enclosures.  It is one-stop shopping.  A quick demo is included to further explain the SPP and the concept of hot fixes (critical updates) and how to apply them.
