Some things you should know about the HP, Red Hat Partnership

This year I agreed to coach my 8 year old daughter’s recreation soccer team.  I am no soccer expert - they were desperate for coaches.  For spring soccer my goal for our team was to simply have fun.

My team is no power house.  I have a mixture of all kinds of players and as we have struggled to win games I have noticed three things.  First, there is no substitute for experience.  Second, you have to play as a team.  Third, proper match-ups are key.

HP and Red Hat have followed the same formula.  For more than a decade, HP and Red Hat have worked to provide open source solutions to customers.  One such example is the work around the HP ProLiant DL580 Gen8 server.  HP and Red Hat have teamed up to deliver industry leading benchmark results.

When it comes to match-ups, HP and Red Hat work closely to certify and support ProLiant servers running on Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Red Hat Storage Server, and Red Hat OpenStack.  HP has produced reference architecture for Red Hat Storage Server and will be releasing a reference architecture for Red Hat OpenStack in May 2014 (presentation will be delivered at Red Hat Summit 2014).

While my expectations for my 8 year old soccer team must be kept in check, you will never be disappointed from the value you gain from the HP, Red Hat partnership.
