You may have seen one but you definitely haven’t seen them all

Guest blog written by HP/Microsoft Events Team

I’m sure we all sometimes feel that the Stein poem should be changed to read, “A conference is a conference is a conference.” They can all look and feel the same after a while, but some are spectacular - and that’s what we expect next week’s Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference - and HP’s participation in it – to be.

As a Titanium sponsor, HP is traveling to this conference with ideas, innovations, programs and solutions that will generate interest and excitement. From our great solutions for the "New Style of IT",  to amazing upcoming launches, to developments in our great HP PartnerOne program, you won't find the "same old, same old conference“ here.  In fact, below are some things you won't want to miss.

WPC Action Central = HP Booth #101

The Microsoft World Partner Conference is the perfect place to find out exactly what becoming an HP partner can do for you. The HP booth #101 will be “action central” for the event. Stop by and find out about:

  •        The solutions we offer for Cloud, Big Data, Enterprise Social, and Mobility & Devices
  •        What makes our HP ProLiant Gen 8 servers so great by delivering impressive ROI
  •        How well you fit into HP’s outstanding partner programs
  •        On-going initiatives to streamline our relationship with partners to make it easier for them to do business with us

Excitement starts with Microsoft Windows Server 2003 End of Support

You all know that it’s coming. You also know that many of your customers will be looking for help to migrate from Windows Server 2003 before July 14, 2015.  Now, you can provide that help, thanks to a program developed by HP and Microsoft, for you and your SMB customers.

HP and Microsoft offer integrated solutions that are affordable, reliable and simple to install and manage, along with financing options to help SMB customers migrate to WS2012 in plenty of time, as a well as build the new IT infrastructure their business needs now and to scale into the future.

We invite you to visit us in the HP booth to learn more about this migration and how we can help make it an easy transition for everyone.

Widespread excitement

The HP "buzz" is spread out over four days of the event.  Here are a few key activities you wont want to miss:

  •          Welcome Reception: Sunday, July 13, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. in expo
  •          Happy Hours: Monday, July 15 and Tuesday, July 15, 3:30 – 5:30 p.m. in expo
  •          Women in Technology Panel w/ HP’s Sue Barsamian – Wednesday, July 16, 2:00 – 3:00 p.m.

Finally, don’t miss our very special - and famous - "executive-level" guest who will be present at our booth and other locales throughout the event. Come and meet him and take a selfie with him!  Wondering why we aren't naming him?  If we were to do so, we might cause a "security breach" but trust us - when you see him in person, you'll recognize him right away  - and you'll want to have your smartphone ready!

Of course, in the end, our basic message is simple.

You haven’t seen anything if you don’t see the great things HP has in store for you at the Microsoft World Partner Conference, so make sure you come and visit us during the event.  We look forward to seeing you there!
