HP announces new reseller agreement with Cloudera

Earlier this year, HP and Cloudera entered into a premier partnership to offer top notch solutions for Apache Hadoop. Cloudera is a market leader in the Hadoop distribution space and HP is a long time record holder in the data management and data center markets.

 

Putting the cure in procurement!

 

The two companies now take the relationship a notch higher by entering into a reseller agreement which allows customers to directly order Cloudera software from HP. As a result, customers will have a leaner, faster procurement process so they can focus on getting most of their Hadoop investment right away. As techies we know how tricky it can get dealing with the procurement office, specially when the process involves working with two or more separate vendors.  

 

HP and Cloudera - A Premier Partnership

 

At the Discover conference in Las Vegas, HP unveiled plans to partner with Cloudera on various aspects of delivering complete solutions for Hadoop - from development and testing to marketing and sales execution.
