Rethink BI : Business Insights over Business Intelligence
The purpose of this business insights thought leadership blog is to share the HP point of view on industry trends such as Big Data and Real Time Analytics, and provide updates on key innovations and solutions.

HP talks Big Data at Strata

We're at the Strata conference this week at the Hyatt Santa Clara & Convention Center and we're helping customers understand how to make data work.

Come and see us at the HP booth #412, check out solutions for Big Data including our HP AppSystem for Apache Hadoop, and chat to some of our experts.  We can help answer some questions you might have, such as how to address the total cost of your Hadoop solution including managing density and floor space.

You'll also find us involved in some of the broadcasts taking place from the show including sessions from theCUBE where we'll be talking about the following (times quoted are Pacific Time):

  • Wed 2/27 @ 1:00 - 1:20 - HP and Cloudera
  • Wed 2/27 @ 1:20 - 1:40pm  - Hadoop and Vertica

Don't miss the sessions and log on to this link to get live streaming throughout the day.

Our friends at Wikibon give an overview of theCUBE and the presence at Strata here.

HP will also be telling some war stories around Big Data in the "Five Real World Hadoop Success Stories with HP" session on Thursday, Feb 28th between 4:00 – 4:30pm in Ballroom H.  Hear about these stories, complete with solution details and business results, from the technical teams that packaged and delivered the solutions.

We hope you enjoy the show - To find out more about HP's leadership in the world of Big Data go to
