New HP As-a-Service Solution for SAP HANA announced

On August 25th HP announced a new solution, jointly with SAP, which enables customers to get rapidly connected to SAP HANA.

The HP As-a-Service Solution for SAP HANA will be introduced first in Australia and New Zealand, and provides SAP HANA in an as-a-service model that includes software licenses, hardware, and ongoing management of the applications running on SAP HANA.  All this is delivered for a monthly subscription cost to let customers move from a CAPEX to OPEX model.

The new solution runs in an HP Managed Cloud environment, within a regionalized HP data center facility and is powered by the HP AppSystem for SAP HANA

To help customers move to this next generation database platform and delivery model, HP has a full portfolio of services, accelerators, Migration Factory, and centers of excellence for planning, migration, validation, security, delivery and management of their mission-critical data on the SAP HANA platform.

Find out more about the solution in this blog from our friends in HP Enterprise Services, the press release, a solution overview and the solution web page.
