A Cloud outage can come from where you don’t expect it.

I didn’t expect to see another example of a cloud outage so soon after I wrote Is your Cloud at risk? on this blog.

But this time, the AWS outage reported by Matt Prigge shows that it can come from where you don’t expect it…

 

Do I think that organizations using HP Datacenter Care could have kept their systems running and prevented so many problems? No, I wouldn’t go that far. However, for sure the processes may have been reviewed to find single points of failure, much depending on the scope of the relationship with HP Support.

 

The power of the strong association of people, processes and technology that HP Datacenter Care Service offers is a key success factor for all companies wishing to keep their cloud up and running and avoid publicity they would not like.
