In his article “how to identify the ideal private cloud technology vendor”, Torsten Volk, a senior analyst at EMA (Enterprise Management Associates), is proposing 11 key success factors to any cloud deployment, meaning that any technology vendor able to provide those would be an ideal private cloud technology vendor. It’s a nice list. However, Torsten forgets one key success factor, a very important one that too many people do not consider before they make their choice: how is that vendor able to assist you in your daily operations to make it work and evolve at its optimal level?
