HP Technology Services @ 10th Anniversary Red Hat Summit: Built-to-run stable, flexible IT systems

Nothing makes me feel more “old school” than considering the many choices our customers have today to operate their IT environment.

Gone are the days when the software used in the datacenter was dictated by the hardware choice.  Not only is the world of production IT more open, using products from multiple providers, it’s often virtualized or deployed on private or public clouds, with lightning-fast deployment and  an increased need for agility and nimbleness.  The future of IT certainly looks different to CIOs making decisions on new ways to support their business objectives and drive innovation -- without impacting budget or security.

This year’s 10th Anniversary Red Hat Summit promises to provide a window to the future to help attendees understand where the next few years will take IT.  HP has been a proud partner and sponsor of the event with Red Hat since the beginning. We’ll be at this year’s event too, helping our customers re-think and plan their next steps to gain and leverage the benefits provided by new technology.

We continue to find better ways to support our Red Hat HP customers.  Newly simplified Foundation Care provides a convenient “first place to call” for help on HP ProLiant hardware and Red Hat software.  Better yet, we can be the only call you need to make, giving you full HP-branded support of your hardware and Red Hat software.  HP Proactive Care takes that even further, providing a fully “connected” experience to prevent problems.

We know it takes more than hardware; we’ve been supporting open hardware and software solutions for over 10 years.  We understand how you must manage your IT environment today-- and what it will take to adapt for tomorrow.   So this is just a reminder: The configuration may change but our commitment is still strong; it’s one of the “old school” concepts we still hold today.  We are here to help you build and run stable, flexible IT systems that can grow and adapt to the changing needs of your business.
