HP NFV Perspective - Get It! @ Silicon Valley Telecom Council Meeting October 31 in San Jose

20130416_HP_Experience_268_images_sm (5).pdf - Adobe Reader.jpgWith the rapid growth of rich media applications and the slowing in voice revenues, Communication Service Providers (CSPs) find themselves in an unenviable position of exploding network traffic while their revenues are not similarly increasing.  Network Functions Virtualization (NFV)   will enable CSPs to radically take down infrastructure capital and operational costs – and provide a more agile environment to introduce new services more quickly at far less cost than previous network infrastructure.

Join HP’s Chief Technology Officer for Communications, Media and Solutions (Jeff Edlund) and the Silicon Valley Telecom Council for a panel luncheon on October 31 at 12 p.m. PST - which will explore NFV / SDN definitions, similarities and differences; Which applications to start with – which applications have the best ROI; Unsolved space where innovation opportunities exist;  Implementable use cases for revenue growth and cost containment

Want to join the lunch?
