2010 as the gateway to a new decade of change

Back at the start of the year I was talking with folks about the pivot point 2010 will be as we move from computers being scarce to being abundant. This next wave of technology has numerous attributes that will change our thinking about how to get work done. This decade should be even more tumultuous than the last.

We’re moving to a business engine where everything can be a service. Yet, we live in a hybrid world where an active choice can be made of doing it “on our own” or leveraging the resources in the marketplace.

I mentioned before about living in an “and” world where people choose among things, not between things.

HP recently created a forum to enable discussions about the use of technology to enable new levels of business value generation.
