Multi-touch embedded in Windows 7

One of my predictions for 2008 was that it would be the year of changes in Computer User interaction. With a multi-touch interface capability being integrated into Windows 7, we should be seeing a significant shift in application interfaces.

I'll have to get one of those 1080p monitors hooked up to my work machine and create a touch interface and really go-to-town. Now that the rumors are it will be here in 2009, we shouldn't have to wait long.

Every time I write Windows 7, I want to write System 7, those Macintosh roots still run pretty deep.

Touch interfaces have been talked about for years but may be this time. I see the next version of the XO has a touch interface and is much more booklike
