Sentiment analysis and food

foodmood.pngAffect Lab, Ai Applied, and Jana + Koos recently got together to create FoodMood, an interactive data visualization project that allows users to track food sentiments around the world, according to types of food, different countries… You can compare countries and look at the opinions of professionals vs. amateurs. Their stated goal is: “MEASURING GLOBAL FOOD SENTIMENT ONE TWEET AT A TIME.”

It is becoming commonplace for organizations to do this kind of analysis for their customers. It makes me wonder how demand creation techniques will shift.
