Shaking the foundations of IT

This question was answered by KenL on the HP TS Transforming IT Blog wrote a post titled Paradigm Shift a few weeks back. He talks about some of the scarcity and abundance issues we’ve talked about in this blog before.

 

When technology permeates every aspect of our lives—we work and live differently. The expectations shift beyond just the potential of technology, into the potential of a different way of life and that shakes foundational assumptions in many ways: What is a workplace? What is work? Who uses data and why?

 

IT organizations need to start asking these questions of themselves and the businesses they support.
