The mixed metaphor of cloud computing

cloud question mark.jpgI just read a post by Mark Shoemaker on some of his concerns about cloud computing titled: Private Cloud - Great! Now I’m a meteorologist! It was an interesting post about some of the issues that organizations may run aground when they get past the fog associated with private cloud in the market place.

Having said that… Has there ever been any buzzword that was so rich in colorful language? It can be just too much fun using cloud references when talking about IT today. With all the talk about types of computing the whole topic is becoming a bit weathered. Send in the clouds – wait the clowns.
