Budgets for IT expenditures are shrinking, and businesses are looking for ways to cut costs. Competition for limited funds is fierce, and financial justification is necessary to get support and buy in for major IT investments.

 

I was at HP Discover 2012 in June explaining how creating a business case is the key to obtaining approval for IT initiatives.
