Sexy headlines catch one’s attention. I see this all the time when browsing the news. Once I read the article, however, I tend to find that the title has very little to do with the story, and was created to grab your attention. It works. I’m proof.
When it comes to Hadoop, and Big Data overall, the sexy headline is analytics. That conversation moves into business-specific scenarios, perhaps focused on a specific vertical like FSI, Telco, or Healthcare. IT may or may not be involved in the conversation.
