Augusta National Golf Club, host of The Masters golf tournament, offers membership only to males.  And rather awkwardly, the CEO of IBM, a major sponsor of The Masters, has traditionally been invited to join the club.  So naturally, pressure to invite new IBM CEO Virginia Rometty to become Augusta's first female member has put golf and IT in the headlines, for all the wrong reasons.
