How your IPv6 transition will impact applications

Just like network equipment, application software needs to support the IPv6 protocol too. This includes OS, firmware, middleware and applications (including internally developed applications). Vendors will typically handle IPv6 enablement of off-the-shelf products. But for internally developed applications it’s your responsibility to enable them for IPv6.
